There are three versions of the John Lennon Pen Collection - black Precious Resin, a more limited Silver overlay pen and an extremely limited Skeleton pen.

This incredible collection of writing instruments has been in anticiaption for years, it seemed prefect to launch the collection in commemorance of Lennon's 70th birthday on 10/9/2010.

The collaboration was announced at the annual Academy Awards 'Montblanc Signature Of Good' event in March 2010. This generational international organization has been a huge philanthropic force in world through their distinguished writing instruments, fine timepieces and leather accessories. New York jewelers and New York watch stores have supported Montblanc initiatives whole-heartedly.

This year wholesale montblanc pens began its charitable 'Signature Of Good' endeavor themed 'The Montblanc Wish Tree'. Asking celebrities to write there charitable wishes with a Meisterst Fountain Pen and place them on the tree. The 'Wish Tree' has been traveling the world to other fabulous events to be adorned with celebrity charitable wishes. The tree will be exhibited during the unveiling of the Montblanc - John Lennon Pen reveal in Manhattan on Sunday September 12, 2010. The event will take place in a location close to Central Park, a few miles from Lennon's home 'The Dakota". Susan Sarandon is set to present the pen collection, which will be followed by a musical performance and the US film premiere of Sam Taylor-Wood's, 'Nowhere Boy', a film about John Lennon's early years, distributed by The Weinstein Company. A portion of the proceeds from each sale of these limited edition pens will go to a program supporting the musical education of children around the world.
